Euro Zone Crisis Webinar
Planning for Economic Contagion

After a relatively stable beginning to 2012, much of the euro zone is now back in recession and the possibility of a second global banking crisis is becoming more and more plausible. While the survival of the single currency in one form or another is difficult to predict, higher levels of economic uncertainty and lower levels of growth prospects in Europe for the foreseeable future now seem much more certain. Further, the velocity at which the crisis is spreading is heightening the risk of contagion to other markets including North America, Latin America, and Asia. In order to remain competitive in the new environment, companies need to focus on their performance management and risk management approaches on multiple scenarios that could be brought about by a controlled or a chaotic collapse of the single currency.

In December 2011, CEB brought together over 400 Finance executives from companies across Europe and North America for a special webinar to see how leading organizations are preparing for greater uncertainty in the global economy. Join us again on 15 June 2012 for another opportunity to see how companies are preparing for a worst case scenario in the euro zone and how the outlook perspectives have changed since the beginning of the year.
